EncoreViewer has encountered a problem.......!

Post by Georgio » Tue Nov 24, 2009 10:47 pm

"EncoreViewer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

This is the message I get now when I click on my EncoreViewer icon. I have removed and reinstalled the software 3 times, and done system restore on my computer several times....with no effect. I don't know what caused it, except possibly an "automatic update"?

Running Windows XP Pro, and EncoreViewer Version 1.0. Any ideas for solutions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Georgio

Don't know what operating system you are using. These instructions are based on XP, but should work for Vista.

If you are comfortable with your computer's registry, uninstall the program. Use file explorer to be sure all the program files under C:\program files\respironics are deleted. Run "regedit" and delete the key under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Respironics. You will need to reinstall the Mako 3000 card driver and program. This should result in a fully clean install.
