MD - how's the bridge of your nose holding up?

Hopefully they'll start making it in small since it seems there are many that would get it in that size. For my part, I hope it comes in a full face version some day.

The bridge of nose is holding up fine. The redness faded by noon. I'm gonna try a Remzzzs tonight and see how that goes. I've also thought about getting the Padacheek with the nose bridge protector.

Well RT,I give it a go last night.What a awsome mask.I like the Activa LT but no where does it compare with the softgel.Most of the night I did not know I had a mask on.On the sores on your nose,I wonder if you have it too tight or not properly postioned.

I have it set up fairly loose. I generally get a reddened bridge with masks that sit over my nose. For the most part, it's gone within 90 minutes. I'm getting good therapy from this mask. It's comfortable and the leak rate is generally 0.00L/s. I think I may be able to go down in pressure.

Some more observations. This mask prefers skin to achieve a seal. I tried a couple of barriers; paper tape & a Remzzzs liner. No dice. It seals best with skin. I think it's also one that's worth giving a few days to soften. The redness this morning is much lighter. Like the ComfortGel, this mask has leaked at the eye line. Unlike the ComfortGel, a little wiggle makes it go away.

I'm puzzled....if its supposed to be usable for Activa LT users, why don't they offer it in the same range of sizes?

Seems they only have Medium and Large? I'd likely need Large-Wide (actually I'm using Ultra MIrage II with a Shallow-Wide....but need that width).

I've been using my Activa LT for 2 months now. I do want to have a spare cushion soon, as not sure how long my LT Cushion is supposed to last. I have not seen anyone post about the SoftGel compared to the LT cushion tête à tête....specially with my mustache issue. Anyone had experience with both yet?

Having dealt with my first Power Outage last night (Woke me up at 1:20 AM with no air!), and no power restored till 6:20 AM, I really had no idea how dependent I am on my APAP. That was ONE HORRIBLE night of trying to sleep until the power was restored. I'm now shopping for a UPS, as I don't want to pay 300 bucks for a Resmed battery.

Your cushion should be good for at least 6 months. My father-in-law uses his mask for a year before replacing it.

Yes, but not sure your father-in-law has the steel-wool based mustache under his nose that I do. I just ordered a SoftGel online, found a place with it on sale including shipping for 29 bucks.
