What do the numbers mean on the flow limitation and LPM

Hi Teri. Flow Limitation is only recorded if you are running in Auto Mode. I have the official definition of Flow Limitation but I will have to find where I put it. In general terms it is a Hypopnea wantabe. It is a restriction in the air flow but not great enough to be a Hypopnea. It is not figured in you AHI.

LPM is a measurement in the amout of air flow. Liters per Minute generally used to measure the amount of air leaked through the mask seal. Masks have a design leak rate in order to remove CO2 from the mask. On Respirionics machines you must subtract the exaust rate from your total in order to determine how much leakage comes from ytour mask.
