New generation product, System 1. I'll be ordering one as soon as I see an internet provider post one for sale. Product # DS750HS, includes humidifier.

Paul, if you really, really like using software to monitor your own treatment and not have to rely on a DME to do downloads for you, you might want to hold off on the "System One" machines. It takes a completely new version of Encore Pro... Encore Pro 2 to work with the System One machines. The present Encore Viewer and Encore Pro 1.anything don't work with the Philips Respironics System One machines.

I personally wouldn't pay one cent for a System One machine until there's a place to buy software to do our own downloads at home.

Thanks for the heads up Laura. I had forgoten that Respironics doesn't provide the software as of yet, and I definitely do want to measure my success with the new machine. With my M series bipap auto, I have the software and I consistently show good results so I'm not too fearful of the new system's ability to meet my sleep needs, given that the algorithm supplied tracks closely to the previous generation. I also need a backup machine, and I'm confident the M series will serve that purpose for my new purchase. However, I will buy the software as soon as it is available.

I would get an M series or a tank then. Something that would work with what I have now.

Sounds like you have your mind made up to me.
