I placed two separate orders for supplies from Apria on September 30 and haven't gotten anything yet. It seems like a really long time. There was some confusion with my order. I called my insurance company first to make sure I knew what I was entitled to. The order taker agreed and took my order. Then I got a call back saying that I couldn't get some of it according to the insurance company and some of it I had to order from my local branch. I was told don't let them (local branch) send you back to us. But the lady at the local branch seemed very confused about why I was calling there.
What's your usual turnaround time?

Re: How long to get supplies from Apria?
Apria always takes a long time and they like to make you crazy with all the back and forth calls. I think they hope we'll just take what they want to give us. Insist on what you want! Call your local branch and complain...loudly...that you are getting a runaround and list the items you want, they will get them for you. Of course they will send a box with the wrong stuff first. When that happens tell them to send a call tag for the return. Sometimes it's cheaper for them to just tell you to keep it. Eventually you will get the right item.
It usually takes me a week or 2 to get filters(but I have to call each and every month just to get 2 disposable). A month or 2 to get a mask(longer if the mask is not in stock). Hoses that I don't need came automatically every month till I called and told them to only send what I ordered.
I have found that I can order from cpap.com and get the right stuff the first time, in a timely manner, and no aggravation.

How long to get supplies from Apria?
Usually a week or less.
Never had so much as a problem in nearly 4 years for the Apria in Sacramento.
Perhaps Apria DMEs in other locales should check to see what Sacto is doing right.

Re: How long to get supplies from Apria?
Took me about 5 weeks to get my first CPAP rental machine + mask/tube and stuff. Ordered it the first week and they said it'll take a week for the item to get arrived at the local branch - they said they'll call me. However they never called, and I waited long until I wrote an eMail to corporate suggesting to help me or "do you want me to die in my sleep." They forwarded my eMail to the branch and the branch called me up the wee morning the day after I sent my eMail - and that's when I went to pick up.
So.. if it's taking long, gotta be persistent. Don't wait. BUG them! It's your life at risk!
