Best BiPAP Machine w/ Reporting Software?

Post by MGoBlue » Wed Sep 30, 2009 7:53 am

Need to switch from CPAP to BiPAP.

I currently have an M Series Auto with Encore Pro and Encore Pro Analyzer that I like a lot. What BiPAP machines have this level of software/reporting?

M series Bipap Auto will work with your software and reader. I like mine.

So will your current M Series integrated humidifier. Its the smartest way for you to go.

AND you do NOT want the M Series Bi-PAP Plus. You do NOT want ANY Respironics w/Plus in their model name as NONE of the Plus models are fully data capable. NONE.

My computer says I need to upgrade my brain to be compatible with its new software.

Thanks guys! I didn't realize that the BiPAP version was so similar to what I already have (and that the same software would work, etc). Definitely the way to go.

Just make sure it is the Respironics M SERIES Bi-PAP. M SERIES is the key word here for your current integrated humidifier, software and cable reader to work.

My wife just got the results of her second sleep study and she was prescribed a BiPap (15/11 pressures) and now I have a whole lot more reading to do. I am pushing toward the ResMed line since we already have the software and USB reader. Will any of the ResMeds VPAP models suit our purposes for full data (compliance and therapy) capture?

Most definitely. The Resmed VPAP Auto which was released in January 2008 which I have. Or the Resmed VPAP Auto 25 which was released in July 2008. Both great devices w/the excellent data we've come to expect from Resmed devices.

I think what I would like is a RM machine running the PB algorithm with a FP humidifier/hose and then a way to get RR-software reports with it all. Yeah. That would make me happy.

Thank you, I just want to try and avoid the same hassles I had my first round with a first DME. My current DME carries all the other ResMed CPAP and APAP models I talked with them about, so I am hopeful that they will not balk at the Auto 25.
