1st night on new Opus 360 - edited

Post by 2flamingos » Sun Aug 23, 2009 7:11 am

I know I can't use results from just one night to say one mask is better for me than another, but these are the best results I have had since being on pap (11/08).

AI=0.0
HI=1.8
VS=2.7
FL=0.4
90% pressure (lowest ever) 11.3 out of 13
leaks - a couple of spikes, but mostly around 25, average of 35

Yippee!

I forgot to add - Opus 360 is more comfortable to me. Really like the way the pillows are shaped.

Now to see what the next few nights bring! Will continue to update.

Congrats, 2! Here's to your continuing success.
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.

No new data - smart card is acting stupid (or machine is).

All fixed - new card and module!

Numbers last night not quite as good as 1st nite, but nothing to sneeze at,
AI = 1.3
HI = 1.5
FL - 1.1
VS = 3.5
Leak was about the same.

The big thing is I woke up before alarm, not still groggy, and ::GASP:: in a good mood!

Still not going to put all my eggs in one basket, but I really do think this is the mask for me!

Until last night, my results had been pretty much consistent, and GOOD. Last night, on the other hand, had some of my worst results in a while!

AI 4.9
HI 2.8
two NR's
VS 7.5
Leak was actually pretty good - two big leak episodes (not major leak, just significant). other than those two, pretty much a "zipper"/straight line with average in range for my pressure(s).

I know that those are not horrible numbers, but in comparrison to what I had been getting - not so good. AND, I can feel the difference! I did "wake up" before alarm again, but was dreaming and did not want it to stop. Rolled over and "resumed" dream until alarm went off, hit snooze and repeated the roll over, dream for another 15 minutes (of course now I cannot remember the dream or why I wanted it to continue ).

My biggest concern are the 2 NR's. They were within 30 minutes of one another, not during a big leak episode, and in the last hour of sleep. WTH is going on? I did have 7 centrals during my initial study, but in almost 10 months of xpap, I have only had two others (prior to last night).
