Advice for new CPAP user

Hi; I'm a new cpap user (one month on Sunday). I have a VPAP S with pressure at 17/14. I have been taking my data card into the sleep lab every week to get a print out of my results, but I'd like to be able to do that at home and save the results. I saw on one posting that I can only get software now through overseas sources or "underground". However, I googled the software and there is a shop selling it for $175 plus $70 for the card reader.Is this legit? Has anybody just asked their doctor to get them a prescription to buy the software?

I'd doing really well and am committed to doing better. I'm down from 104.6 apneas/hr to about 11 which is obviously huge. Life changing . Would appreciate all advice anyone can give.

Depending on your machine, it might be possible to get the software. Please fill out what equipment you have under your profile. That will help the other members to answer your question quickly.

The software is available from Australia for around $100 plus shipping. Be sure to check the US dollars conversion when looking at the price. This seems to be where the ResMed users are having to get the software now.
The card reader is less expensive here in the states from what I hear.

It is doubtful that your insurance will cover the cost even if the doctor writes a script for it. Just because a doctor orders it, doesn't make it so, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

From what I've found, just about all other sites ask about the same price for the card reader.
