You do understand that THIS forum is sponsored by Cpap.com? The one you're asking about probably carries many of the same equipment, as does any DME, but you'll have a hard time getting everyone here, who thinks Cpap.com is terrific, to say a lot more.

Just so everyone knows, cpap.com will match prices from any other reliable internet supplier. So if you find a better price at thecpapshop.com, you can get the same price at cpap.com.

Personally I don't trust a place in the U.S. that isn't listed at all at http://www.bbb.org. I don't care if they are a member, and I don't put too much stock in the ratings, but I at least want them to be listed and rated and not to have an F or D- rating.

LOL. I just looked up the A-place on BBB. The headquaerters location is accredited. However the only branches that are accredited aare Salina, KS and Madison, WI. Hummmmmmm.......

Translation; If you catch us charging more, we won't. I have and will continue to purchase from cpap.com, but ONLY if the price is right the FIRST time. (ducks and seeks shelter from incoming.)

I understand your point. Give the business to the company that is responsible for the lower price.

But since I know that cpap.com can be trusted to do the right thing, making them price match may be the safer route.

I also understand your point, Hobbs, and mostly agree with it. But I figure no business can afford to give the lowest price on everything and stay in business. And I want to encourage integrity and reliablity as much as I want to encourage low prices.

Price-matching, to my way of thinking, is at least an encouragement to the consumer to shop around to check if a site's prices are in the ballpark. So I would tend to use the site that price-matched over a site that merely gave a low price on an item or two but didn't price-match on others. I want to encourage price-matching, and I'm going to shop around either way.

That said, I respect your position as much as I respect mine.

They might match advertised price but I've bought elsewhere and got free shipping for $50 instead of $99 I don't think they match on the bottom line price. For example I bought my S8 APAP from directhomemedical.com for $526 using a coupon code giving me a savings of $63 over cpap.com's price. I got the same free and fast shipping service and they are a resmed approved internet supplier.
For me its not worth price matching if all I end up with is the same product and service

If you're referring to the original poster of this thread......I strongly doubt it. There were three previous posts in another thread.

Other than purchasing a few items (4) from private individuals (forum members), the vast majority of my CPAP equipment and supplies have come from CPAP.COM. Since they provide the very best CPAP user forum, I think they deserve what business I can give them.
Consequently, I don't price compare the other sites.
