register for the forum - fill out your profile

make sure you list the correct machine you have -----

even if you just post what machine you have on this thread, it would help determine what software and more you might need - otherwise we are flying blind on trying to help you

If the machine you just put in your new profile is correct, you have the Plus - worthless to get the software - total waste of money

you need to demand your doctor write a script for the Pro - that has worthwhile data

there is a step up from the m series plus which is the m series pro - it has DATA worth getting the software for - the plus m series even with the card module isn't worth it -

Jules, thank you, I will definately ask my doctor. Makes you wonder, why not prescribe the top of the line? This is all new to me and need all the information I can get. I just saw some videos on my machine (once I figured out which one I really had LOL) and I see where the filters are.

the top would be the apap with aflex - ask for that one or the apap with cflex (next down the line) but settle for the pro - if they won't allow an apap - an apap can be set in cpap mode so you can get the exact same therapy with the apap as you have now - just have a few more perks available by having the apap option if you need it some time

it is really all a matter of profit for the DME - they can buy bottom machines cheaper than top and the insurance company pays them the same amount no matter what machine -- hence more profit for a lesser machine
