dry mouth

Post by none » Mon Sep 19, 2005 12:47 pm

I am still messing around with the dry mouth and dry throat in the morning. Its so bad that it annoys me to take my first swallow of saliva.
I am back to using the swift pillows...which is great along with a tiara chin strap. No Problem ! But with the humidifier going almost dry by 5 AM...then I seems to develop the dryness. Has any one neded to get up and fill the humidifier in the middle of the night ? Would that help the dry mouth and throat feeling

Wow....your humidifier goes dry before morning? I can't help but think it is set too high and therefore using up the water a lot quicker. With the Swift and the Tiara chin strap helping you to keep therapeutic air from escaping and mouth breathing (both of which result in dry mouth), then you may be able to reduce the humidifier setting. That's my guess, anyway.

I had the pressure reduced by my dr. two weeks ago. From 17 to just 15
he also gave me a spray bottle to clear my nose before bed time. I am improved from total discomfort to a 5 out of a scale of 1 to 10 ....my setting is about 4 on the humidifier from where I was a 6 setting . There is a little more water left in the am..but just a bit more than before, This is from Barnaby who is shown as a guest ???
