When can you tell when it time to replace your mask? I know my insurance company will replace one every 6 months.

Sometimes headgear loses elasticity or frays, or the mask begins to lose its good seal. That's hard to measure in time unless those who have used that particular mask report common problems at a certain point. Breaks, tears, hose holes, etc. can happen at any point. It's always good to have backups, especially until you've used a mask long enough to see it's track record. After that, I would consider copays, need, etc. as to how often you want to get replacements.
