Swift LT versus Swift LT for her

Post by zaban3 » Thu Jul 09, 2009 6:42 pm

I am newly diagnosed and using the Swift LT very successfully for the past two weeks. I was wondering whether or not I should try the "for her" or should I not change since I am pleased with the regular LT. I am using the size small nasal pillows. Just curious what the difference are. Also, I just order the covers for the Swift LT and wonder if they will also fit the "for her" model.

It's exactly the same mask except for the difference in the size pillows the two versions ship with and the look, dark blue for the Swift LT and that paler blue pattern for the Swift LT for Her. The small size pillow ships in both. The covers should fit both as well.

zaban3 - Firstly - Welcome to cpaptalk.forum!
Yesterday I asked exactly the same question !
Have a look at my post: 'What is the difference between the Resmed Swift LT......'
it is on the second page.
Hawthorn and jdm answered my questions and you can also have a look
at my picture - I replaced the plastic tube retainer with double sided
tape. I don't like the short tube to move - it must lie still otherwise
it also moves the nasal pillows - and you don't want that!
Make sure you have the soft side of the velcro on the
outside. The hard part can damage your straps.
The Swift LT comes with Small, Medium and Large pillows.
The Swift LT for Her comes with Xtra small, Small and medium pillows.
Last night was my first with Swift LT - borrowed this model to try it
out and will definitely buy it. Had NO leaks! (you can use Lansinoh
(nipple cream) inside your nose (in front) to ensure a better seal.
