Trying it again!
I am back on my CPAP tonight for the first time in about 6 months. I was having so much trouble with my medical equipment provider and my insurance company that I gave up the first time around. On top of that I was diagnosed with mild to moderate sleep apnea and thought that wasn't enough for me to NEED to be on a CPAP all of the time. I have new insurance now and I have gone to a different medical equipment provider and have a totally new machine and mask. I truly want this to work! I am going to give it my best effort. I was not on my last CPAP very long but could tell that I felt better the next day after waking up. After I quit using my last CPAP I have slowly been drained throughout the day and just felt like I needed to start going through my CPAP therapy again! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I start back down the bumpy road of CPAP.
Thank you!
Aaron

Although you can get both good thoughts and prayers here, you can also get something more practical: good advice on making CPAP work for you.
Since you have a fully data capable machine, you should consider buying the software and card reader, so that you can monitor your therapy. For reasons you can find in other posts (search ResScan) your best source for the software is probably http://www.cpapaustralia.com. The card reader is cheaper via cpap.com.
You already know that CPAP makes you feel better. Stick with it, read and post questions (and data) her and work through any issues.

Aaron,
So many when we hear we have mild or moderate obstructive sleep apnea, add "only" in our mind and think that it's not so bad so we don't really need treatment. Maybe the seriousness would sink in if along with the diagnosis we were told, "You experience suffocation, increase your health risks, potentially deprive your brain and body of oxygen, and disturb your sleep only about 15 times an hour or 120 times a night." Then we'd probably scream, "ONLY! Whaddya mean ONLY?!"
I was a quitter who tried again too. Never looked back. Best wishes in getting on track to feeling better.

Re: Trying it again!
Night 1 is in the bag! I completed my first night of sleep with my new machine and mask and it was great! With my old machine and mask I constantly had leak issues. Last night I slept like a baby and didn't feel any leak all night long! I feel like this time around its going to work out for the best!
