Not really sure that I would say Happy- maybe RELIEVED would be more appropriate for me. It explained so many things... some of which are now finally getting better.
I will say that my S.O. is extremely happy - no more load snoring, no more listening and watching to make sure I would start breating again (and thus fewer panic issues). The only down side is the lack of spontenaiety , but that is a small price to pay. While we have not totally adjusted to this issue.... we are learning to live with (or without) it - and just - well thats enough of that!
Anyone glad they were diagnosed?

Yes but trying to find other ways and times to be "spontaneous" can be such fun!! You now have the perfect excuse to say "Honey lets try it behind the garden shed in hip waders" at 10am.The only down side is the lack of spontenaiety
