I always have a hard time remembering which is which. Obviously you have different products but I never can remember which one has the E at the end of Pure. I definitely say re-brand before you get any more attached to the name. I've even got a suggestion for a new name. I have no clue if it's been used by something else though. How about SleepAroma as a play on words for sleeparama?

I looked up lots of name combination's but the best I come up with is "SleepAroma". Another option is to make a name that is catchy as an acronym. Googled on SleepAroma and no hits, tried "Sleep Aroma" and lots of them.

It's going to be okay in the end; if it's not okay, it's not the end.

Just to update this thread, the new name I've landed on is:
papADAPT
I'd be happy for any thoughts about it!
Try the Scented CPAP Mask with Pur-Sleep's CPAP Aromatherapy--CPAP Diffuser and Essential Oils.

I don't know, but I wonder if ResMed, the makers of the VPAP Adapt, will have happy lawyers?

Somehow I missed this thread completely and wish to put my two cents in on it.

I like the name and would like to see it stay -- but I can see the confusion some may have with it. I think of contented kitties sleeping when I hear the name and so remember the difference.

Your name must be original enough to avoid further conflicts such as this in the future. It must be something that is easily recognized for what it is. It will be tough coming up with such a name but I know great minds think alike and sure something can be found.

any way you go, you can always keep http://www.pursleep.com and the new address and point them both to your website.

im not wild about papadapt.

but whatever you go with, youve got a customer here.

I love your pur sleep products, whatever you call them. But have to tell you, the original diffuser system worked way better for me. The paper holders, especially with my goodnight, are just too low and unstable to get a good whiff. And with the old diffuser, the cler has litterally been a life saver when I get colds.

Warmly,

Wow...How did I miss this one first time around??? I'm a nightly user of the product and love it!!!!! Whatever you call it!!!!

I would agree that in a "mass marketing" environment there is a good possibility for confusion -- it's really too bad, but as you say, it's not really worth the time or effort to pursue it.....easier to just change it....

To be honest, I don't really care for papAdapt....but I do like SleepScents -- FWIW!!!!

What ever the new name, I'll be using the product!!!
Good luck Bret -- I wish you well in your endevour!!!!

cheers

Ok, so how about:

HAPPYpap

or
HAPPYpap
CPAP Comfort System
Try the Scented CPAP Mask with Pur-Sleep's CPAP Aromatherapy--CPAP Diffuser and Essential Oils.

Me too on the "SleepScents". It is a more direct reference to what the product is, and it lends itself to marketing to non-cpap users.

Cheers,
B.
