No big plans for my big day, although that's not unusual. My family and friends aren't nearby, but they remember me with phone calls and cards. The b-day wishes from my new "family" here are most welcome and appreciated.

So thank you, Marietjie. I've had some good luck this week, and I'm well on the way to better health and more happiness.

If you look closely you'll see it bears the disheartening news about Scout having run off last summer---leaving poor Billy with promiscuous Cappy as his only dog---that is until the unplanned litter.

Best to get a data-capable birthday CPAP machine instead... Unlike disheartening Kindle Scouts, they won't runaway, unless configured in autoPAP mode.
