Funny topic, but I have sympathy for your husband, having had a long standing problem with my digestive track. He's not a pig, he can't help it.
There are many causes for flatulence, one main one is lactose intolerance, do you think that might be an issue? If you don't think that's the cause, don't bother to read the rest of this paragraph. If the cause might potentially be lactose, I recommend "Dairy Care," not Dairy Ease, not Lactaid, but Dairy Care. The others have to be taken with every meal, but Dairy Care is once a day (after the first week, first week is twice a day.) Most lactose intolerance treatments are lactase (the enzyme that digests lactose.) Dairy Care is a form of acidophillus that contains the bacteria that produces latase, which is usually present in everyone's body and its absence is the reason for lactose intolerance. Over time it can actually restore your body and you'll be cured, though that takes a long time. This can have its initial cause from taking antibiotics that permanently kill the original "good" bacteria.
