It''s just that, if you had it listed (your machine and mask) in your profile, as many of us do, then newcomers could see what you are using.

It just seems to me that it would helpful to them to see what you are using when you give good advice (and I think you do give good advice ) , they may note that you use the same machine or mask that they do and be able to use your advice better.

I, myself, have often read your posts and, since I have only been using the M Series Auto with A-Flex for a little over a year now, I will say to myself, "I wonder if Dreamstalker is using the same machine as I? Does that apply to my machine?"

That's, of course, if the thread is about a specific machine or mask. If it's general sleep apnea information then the equipment doesn't matter as much.

It would also mean that they may PM you for further insights, knowing what equipment you use.

In the case of this thread, you reply saying that the SwiftLT is the better mask but, until this thread no one knew you were using it. In fact, even in your reply, you do not indicate you are using the Swift LT now.

I would guess your equipment comes up, incidentally, in other threads as you repond to specific things but, one would have to remember that or try to find it, if they wondered what you were using.

Just my thinking and something I have been wondering about!

Thanks for replying!

There, added some info to my signature.

I really like your form of equipment listing, because it is effecient in use of the reading space!! BTW, I have been using this form for some time now. I wish more people will use this or similar form to limit unncessary waste of space

You've helped me in the past and I've always wondered what you were using too. BTW, from your avatar you look like you could be a mouth breather

About the Swift LT vs the Swift II. Part of my titration test was with the Swift ll. Because it has that hard plastic cylinder that goes under the nose, I woke up with my upper teeth hurting. I also had a hard time sleeping on my side because the cylinder was too wide for my face...it kind of dug into the pillow which would cause the nasal pillow to want to dislodge.

The LT Swift for Her fits me very well and I like it a lot.

I just saw what feeling-better posted about taking less space to list equipment...I'll go change mine so that it takes up less room too.

Swift 11 was my vote!
I purchased the LT and the pillow on it made my nose bleed and very sore so I traded it 1 week later... Ouch!

Hi Dennis:

Have had many Swifts, Swift 11's and LT's. For me the Swift LT is the best and continues to be so! You probably know this already from our talks, but I wanted to add to your poll! Going to take you up on that burger deal next time we are in RI, one of these days!

All the best,
Steve,

Hi Steve,
A Ok, a deal is a deal..
I was thinking the Casino in Lincoln might be a nice place to meet. (If they don't close down due to bankruptcy that is.)
It's central to the state and they have lots of nice places to eat there.
Always good to hear from you.

Good health!
-Dennis

I've used each exactly once - an LT during my test and a II last night for my first time at home. I sleep ONLY on my back when I can (when I sleep alone and my snoring doesn't bother anybody and with my CPAP). For me, the II was more comfy and didn't seem to leak. I bet I could adapt to either, though. Aren't there QC issues with replacement parts for the LT's?
