Will Windows 7 solve the EP/Vista issues?
Re: Will Windows 7 solve the EP/Vista issues?
So W7 is simply a marketing ploy, to avoid the bad rep of Vista?
Getting old doesn't make you 'forgetful'. Having too damn many things to remember makes you 'forgetful'.
Re: Will Windows 7 solve the EP/Vista issues?
Windows 7 will still be Windows.
Will it solve Vista issues?
No... it will simply present them in another annoying way.

WTF?

Re: Will Windows 7 solve the EP/Vista issues?
I gave up. Took the Boat Anchor into Seattle Laptop. Traded it in on a Lenovo Thinkpad running Windows XP and Open Office. I'll decide later if I want to spend $189 to get Access, as well.
I'll keep you posted as to loading Encore Pro. Forgot to bring the disks with me this weekend, so I haven't gotten there yet.
Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

Are you a scientist??yardbird wrote:WTF?
Only certified scientist are qualified
to use that term.
That is the MS development philsophy.yardbird wrote:Windows 7 will still be Windows.

Say what you will, MS has provided me w/a 25yrs career.
DOS3.3 through, presently Vista.
If this stuff worked as advertised and users could
actually figure it out, I'd be out of a job.
Versions?? yes, keep them coming.

to see or feel those changes, you'll never know what you're capable of."
I said that.

I may be certifiable.... but certified scientist? ... hmmm...
yeah yeah... I'm MS certified as well. Although I have to admit I stopped after NT.
I do, however, understand job security.
And actually... I sell MS licensing state wide and probably do 5 to 7 million a year. I love when they rev new product as it breaks all the old stuff and people have to upgrade!
I just won't actually USE it myself.... unless it's in a virtual machine sandbox.... then maybe...

Because the price was right. My DME gave it to me for free!6PtStar wrote:If Pro Analyzer won't work why would you even want to run Encore Pro and the problems with the SQL data base. Would not Encore Viewer be a better choice. I sure would hate to give up Pro Analyzer also. Just when I think I can survive Vista or Windows 7 I find out more bad things about it!!

I'm also hopeful that EPAnalyzer will work with 64bit Windoze 7 sometime in the future.
