gum

Here is a tip for whoever is interested. Poke a couple little holes in your hose. Chew up some fresh gum and patch the holes with gum. Then wrap electrical tape around the general are where you patched it with gum. Make sure it doesn't leak. When you put on your mask you will be breathing a sweet mint air. It lasts for quite a while I've had it ever since I got my machine a week ago.

Wouldn't it be easier just to put some peppermint or spearmint or whatever oil on a cotton ball in perhaps a little glass dish and set that by the air intake? If you want that scent that is. I wouldn't. Mint is purported to wake you up.

I would not recommend poking holes in your hose. Unless of course you like buying new hoses!

Prolly just an anonymous DME trying to find people dumb enough to ruin their hose by poking holes in it

Sounds like a sleep-deprived brain's solution to a problem. Not entirely sure what the problem WAS...

Hey buddy, here's a product that might help you out - aromatherapy for cpap machines: http://www.pur-sleep.com

Good luck with that chewing gum fix!!!

Now now... Remember how "Nixie" went off on me last week for poo-pooing her wonderful solution to a problem. You don't want to incur the wrath of the OP.

Remember, he may still be homicidal from lack of sleep.

LOL,

Hey I woud use bubble gum and see how big a bubble I can blow. Hey maybe they should make a data capable machine with a readout for bubble diameter and the more cms the bigger the bubble!

What's with all the monkeys? I'm not saying you have to do it it is just a suggestion. It is something I did and I just thought someone else might be interested.

Talk about a sleep-deprived brain and monkey-business- I woke up for a bathroom break anad of course, decided to check on here for a few minutes before returning to bed- when I opened this thread, I read- "First, Poke a couple holes in your NOSE"..... the REALLY bad part is, that did NOT sound strange to me at first reading... Do you think the Marmoset Malaria has arrived????

I like to shove a banana in my hose so I can smell banana scent all night long...trouble is, when I shove a banana in my hose, those are the nights I seem to have the most apnea spells....hmmmmmm....I wonder why that is?
