Ah Triangle, old memories. We owned a sailboat and docked at the LNSC in Lucky Creek for about 15 years.PQG wrote: .........

Re: Thanx + Questions
Here is the follow-up to your many excellent suggestions for my Swift LT for Her mask problems. The very last thing I tried to make it work was to tape my mouth and then utilize the very lightweight chinstrap as a "homemade" stabilizer for the nose pillows. The chinstrap made a great impromptu stabilizer, but then of course I blew out the mouth tape. <sigh>
So I clearly felt that I had given it the old college try and boy did I learn alot in the process. I'm still a newbie at the end of the second week of CPAP but at least now am a MUCH better informed newbie. My DME said it was definitely time to change to a full face mask, so I am now the hopeful owner of a Mirage Liberty FF mask (size small). Nasal pillows seem to work fine for me and I love how lightweight this one is! I've read about the problem with the Liberty clips breaking and also read that the company has now strengthened these clips. However, I was surprised to learn that you should only unclip the BOTTOM CLIPS when taking it off and on (still easy to get off and back on). She said that her clients now don't have any clip problems at all, so we shall see...
I have also read about fit problems for some - she also tried me in a Quattro FF mask but I definitely preferred the feel of the Liberty. I've only tried it for one night so far. Slept for 4 hours but at least Leak L/s are down to 0.14. AHI=11.5 (AI=.07; HI=10.. I've still got the EPR setting off so hopefully I will gradually get used to the mask, the pressure, and whatever else...
I seem to recall reading some suggestions on this board to help with the seal if things don't gradually get better, so will look for them. And of course I won't hesitate to ask any questions. You guys are just the most helpful board I've ever been on!!! Just The Best!
Thanx again, Pam
PS Thanx also to Johnny for IMMEDIATELY adding the H4i humidifier to the drop-down list. Wow!
