Post by Michele1234 » Mon Apr 20, 2009 6:28 pm

I need to get a new mask and hose for my machine, Can anyone tell me are the fitting sizes all the same? on the connections?

Your note gives no information at all on what you were prescribed in terms of things, e.g. Cpap vs Apap, nasal mask vs full face mask, etc. etc. It is actually unclear even if you are asking whether all hoses fit all machines or all masks. The vast majority of masks will 'fit' most machines as the hoses do tend to be standard sizes, but that's the least thing you need to be questioning. Whatever information you can come up with, note it here by brand name (both mask and machine) and type, whatever you can find. Were you diagnosed with sleep apnea, do you know your results of the tests, were there any other "sub" diagnoses (such as Restless legs syndrome that could accompany SA, or something else), and/or anything other information in general that you can come up with. What have you been using up until now?

I've tried only 3 masks so far, but the hose fittings on all three of those have been all the same size.
