Thanks, Johnny!

But just so you know, I almost reported your post when I saw the word "Viagra."

(Hope I still get to keep my button after that joke.)

Will the button keep this kind of spam from wondering in?

AFAIK, the Knights who say Ni have been instructed to let that kind through.

Once again Johnny, you've proven your mettle. Good decision and kind words!!!

I have to say that in the two years I've been here I've used the spam button once -- and it was rather recently (of course, during the debate in which I'd said, "...in almost 2 years I've never used the spam button..."
I think we here in USA owe a vote of thanks to those international members who apparently take the brunt of the spam and clean it out before most of us have de-masked, ingested some caffeine and become somewhat human again......Thank you!!!!!!

cheers

I think you put a lot of thought into this. In my opinion it's the right thing.

Once again I will play village Idiot and ask, are you guys talking about actual spam or something else. I haven't seen any spam. Clueless again

There really hasn't been much lately. Periodically, we've been hit with spam bots who made nuisances of themselves.
On the other hand, when it did appear, many of us were busy deleting it, which may explain why you haven't seen any.

The worst of the spam was when the spammers were porn sites & they had begun including embedded images in their spam posts & that came as a rude shock.

Sometimes I wonder if the only thing worse in life than spammers are the virus creators.
