Mirage Liberty nasal pillows

Post by Richard Walker » Thu Apr 16, 2009 7:03 pm

Thank everyone for the great responses I received on my last question. I have a Mirage Liberty mask that was leaking out of the nasal pillows. Using the advice I was given, i replaced the nasal pilaws with the large sized ones. that worked pretty well for a while, but some of the leaks came back. I also heard about someone using nylons somehow connected to the nasal pillows, then tied around the back of the head, to further anchor the pillows into the nostrils. I could use some more description on how to do this if someone has tried this with any success.
Thanks, Richard

The object is to place the stretchy nylons over the nose and nasal pillows to keep them in place ... so you could just wear them over your head like a bank robber ...

Or you could just tie the pantyhose leg just as you described.

seriously ...
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

The Mirage Liberty is my mask of choice, but requires a bit of tweaking to get a good seal. Here is my personal solution. Insert a cotton ball between the pillows, this will keep them collapsing inward. Secondly I cut a piece of 1/2" elastic band, from Walmart's sewing section, just long enough to fit snuggly around my head and sewed the ends together. After I put the mask on, with the cotton ball in place, I slip the elastic band around the back of my head and across the pillows, the 1/2" band will fit perfectly between the flare for the nostrils and the top of the mouth cushion. This will prevent the pillows from popping out of the front or sides of the nostrils. I used a ladies knee high for this as was suggested by Rested Gal and that works perfectly well, just think the elastic band looks a little better when I work out of town and share a motel room with another driver. Hope this will work for you.
