OK, I heard the radio over my cpap too.

No really, I swear. In the middle of the night. It sure seemed that way. I thought it was on somewhere in the house but it wasn't.

It must be my metal fillings.

Woah I want some of what you are having!!!

Seriously though, I thought it was just the aliens that are in orbit around the planet trying to get my attention!! Guess I'm not as important in the cosmic scheme of things as I thought...

Really seriously ... that is wild, are you serious? Could you actually make out anything songs, talk? Maybe you are on to something (as opposed to ON something hehehe) ... the next wave of cpap machines... radio-pap! (with built in alarm clock!!) Hahaha Hey, there would be more room on the bedside table for the machine with out that pesky clock radio getting in the way!! Wooot I want in on the ground floor! K?

Duuuuuuuuude..... Have you been checked for schizophrenia? Hearing voices - bad. Not Good. Bad.

I know this nice little Spa/Resort down the street from my office.... (State's largest mental facility is within spitting distance. Handy, huh?)

LOL,

That happened once to Gilligan on Gilligan's Island. It was coming through his fillings in his teeth.

Not sure that he had a CPAP though. Then again you never know what the Professor could make from Bamboo.

Are you trapped on an island? If so, you better have a good back up battery.

here's one -- i bought this house 25 years ago . the previous owner succummed to a heart attack in the dining room . it was a fixer upper to say the least. no phone ,water, and only an outhouse. did have electric. got it fixed up redid electric put in all new phone water heat etc.

just pick up the phone and you'd hear funeral parlor music. tried everything to fix it . even the phone company tech couldn't explain it. it eventually went away.

Well actually....not to get too boring with details......

Between the chemistry in the mouth and the chemistry of the amalgam that fillings are comprised of, there has been instances that minute voltages are generated under certain conditions. This voltage can cause a resonance in the filling(s) that uses an RF source from "somewhere".....
Now....is it RF out of the air, as originally transmitted at multiple watts of power (some AM broadcast stations transmit 50,000 watts), or is it proximity to a radio receiver with the "signal" being heard an instance of an intermediate frequency circuit in the radio being generated in micro volts.....dunno.....
But I've heard it from different sources, independently unbeknown to each other....it does seem to happen.

Just thought I'd muddy the waters a bit.....

cheers
