I was just reminded of this post from two weeks back about my experience with Domino's:

Rooster,
The suspense is killing me...will you please tell us what the horrible thing you ate was?

We have been traveling this week and were at the mercy of various hosts (charities for whom we do volunteer work) for our food yesterday. I really do appreciate that the hosts fed us and it was my responsibility to control of my intake, so I am not passing the buck for my bad results.
Lunch was two nude brand-x hot dogs with chili and then there was a late dinner was the toppings of three pieces of
Domino's meat lovers pizza (I don't eat bread because DreamStalker told me not to). Wow, those frozen toppings that
Domino's uses are nasty!
I had a stupid attack. I paid for it. I accept the concept of individual responsibility.

What reminded me of it was this:

I'll have to ask if the pizza came from Conover. It's no so far from where we were visiting.

YIPES, Rooster-man!!!!!!!!!! Just as I was sitting here thinking about my lunch today. There's very few things I like to do other than eat.
I guess my salvation is that I don't do Dominoes, but, of course, that could happen anywhere they serve food. My wife was a waitress for 20 years and she used to tell her customers (the ones she was most familiar with and who joked around with her all the time), "Remember, I touch your food before you get it." That video puts a whole new meaning to her joke!
Seriously, I'm in the club with you about food. I eat stupid once in awhile, too. I lost a bunch if weight in the last 6 months by dieting, but I have yo-yoed back and forth for years with my weight. I want to think it will be permanent this time, but who knows. I still love my pizza, spices, and all the fattening stuff.
We're entitled to play once in a while, but we always have to pay the price. Take care, friend

Just saw on the local news this morning that the 30-year old female that shot the video is a registered sex offender. Domino's has stated they plan to file a civil suit against the two for damaging their reputation.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula.

I was in my mid twenties before I ate pizza, so I still have a lot of catching up to do, and I've worked hard to make up for lost time. If I stopped to think about all that happens to our food before we eat it, I'd not only be slim, but malnutritioned. Obviously my head is in the sand.
How can we boycott jerks working in the food industry?

You folks are shameless!
It is sad that two young employees with so little common sense can wreak such havoc on a business.
And, I am personally betting that the Domino's Pizza chain is going to have even more rigorous health standards, NOT to mention the local franchise. I wouldn't be too surprised to see the employees wearing those face masks used by medical workers.
Hey, is it OK if we have a discussion of cleaning methods and practices over pizza places now, and not just masks, hoses, and filters? I am just saying...

I went to college in the original founding city of Domino's Pizza, and benefited from their low priced and high quality product a number of times. However, that was a large number of years ago and I haven't had one of their pizza slices for a long time. Tom Monaghan sold the business...but I'm betting the nuns who raised him are all rolling over in their graves at this news.
Karen,
Who thinks that Tom Monaghan would have taken swift and decisive action...now,
who knows?

(I don't eat bread because DreamStalker told me not to)
... and Dreamstalker says don't eat out period!
Fix your own meals and know that you are what you eat.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Absolutely! I'm going to a conference in Chicago in two months. Conference includes food. I asked to bring my own. Shocked the socks off them... but I'm doing carry-in, and I bet I eat better than the rest of the attendees!

The Domino's involved threw out all open containers of food and had the whole place sanitized and reopened today.
The local TV stations must have camped out there today. They interviewed the sole customer to come in today and order a pizza.
He said he was there to support a local business and the 12 employees.
Now there is a great American!

Clifton Park diner finds snake head in his broccoli
Thursday, May 7, 2009
The Associated Press
CLIFTON PARK — A diner at a Clifton Park restaurant got a little something extra with his broccoli — a severed snake head.
Jack Pendleton was at T.G.I. Friday’s on Sunday when he spotted something gray mixed in with his vegetables and realized it was a snake head the size of his thumb, with part of the spine still attached.
Pendleton says he snapped a photo with his cell phone camera and called the waiter over. The manager said he’d never seen anything like it.
A spokeswoman for the Carrolton, Texas, chain says it’s investigating. The broccoli was pulled from the restaurant and others served by the same supplier. It wasn’t immediately known what type of snake was involved.
Pendleton and his girlfriend weren’t charged for their meals. He says he has no plans to sue.

Tests showed that the snake head was never cooked. Someone planted it in the broccoli. It is probably just another chili finger type incident.
