ResScan Options question . . .

Post by hobbs » Sat Apr 11, 2009 8:47 pm

When setting the options for the range shown in the graphs, is it a global setting or can the setting be changed for each patient?

It can be set and reset w/in the same patient record or w/in any patient's record.

So each patient has to have the same graph settings?

Nope. The graphs automatically open in the best time frame to fit the entire night in. If one patient only slept 4 hours the night being checked the graph will come up in a 5 hour length. If that same patient slept 6 hours another night being checked the graph would open in an 8 hour length. If you want you can stretch any of them out from, I forget, I think 10 seconds, to 24 hours.

Why don't you ask Resmed?

I doubt that anyone much here much has more than one user's data (themselves) in their copy of ResScan.

Cheers,

Bill

BillBolton, I run two downloads, one to each of two different files. One continuous file w/my identity and one w/written date for the name, i.e. Surname: April, Given Name: Eleven Oh Nine. I can manipulate either one any time period I want. Or am I misunderstanding the question??

I have (2) patient files, one for myself and one for my wife. (we have lots in common!). I have been trying to get the ranges shown on the graphs for leak, pressure, events and AHI/AI to show a different range for each of us.

I'm working w/an S8, not an S8 II, and working w/a VPAP Auto, not the VPAP Auto 25, maybe that is the difference? Or - don't be insulted but - in the upper left corner of the Detailed Graphs page is a box that has the time stretch automatically chosen for that night's length of use time. If you put your cursor on that and click you get other time stretch choices. You most likely know that but thought I would mention just in case.

hobbs is asking about the vertical axis scales on the each category graph, not the common horizontal (time) axis that applies to all the graphs.

Cheers,

Bill
