If a small pillow is too big, will anything help?

I found out the Liberty doesn't make an XS pillow, and the small is too big for my right nare. Will Ayers Saline gel or lanolin help even if the pillow is too big? I only have a few days left to make a decision on this mask before I need to return it to the DME.

I know the cremes and gels can work for general rubbing rawness, but has anyone been able to stick with a too small pillow? I really like this mask otherwise and don't want to look elsewhere...

Hmmmm ... have you tried stretching out your right nare with one of these nare enlargement tools?

Maybe those who have tried both the Liberty and the similar Hybrid masks can speak to you about comparing the Small sizes of each mask.

Bon,

If you buy a Swift LT for Her, a nasal pillow mask which many on the forum use (including me) . . . it comes in size "Extra- Small". I use the Small in most every nasal pillow . . . and the XS is even smaller!

The Mask comes in XS - S - and M. . (If you decide to buy one, I have an XS to trade you for your S . . . so you'll have an extra)

I love the mask, and just started using a chin strap with it to hold it even "more" firmly in place. Nothing moves when I toss and turn!

I tried the cream, it didn't work for helping with a seal. It just allowed the pillow to slip out sooner and easier. The Pillows were not lined up perfectly with my nares so that was probably why, but everyone is built differently so give it a try. I also got some funny looks when I was in the store buying nipple cream and even funnier looks and comments from my kids.

Actually, the device has worked quite well on my nares ... but I guess everyone is different .

Just be careful and use only as directed by your DME/RT.

BTW - Joy and Bon, the nasal pillows for the Swift LT and the LIberty are not interchangeable or comapatible.

Thanks for pointing that out about the masks not having interchangeable pillows....that goes for the Liberty and Hybrid as well. Not interchangeable. I was suggesting a different mask might have a better fit in size Small. The OptiLife is another mask which even has Petite beyond the Small size.
