Where can I get ResMed Ultra Fine (Hypo) S8 filters cheap?

Post by jnk » Tue Apr 07, 2009 2:14 pm

It's allergy season. CPAP.com doesn't sell S8 ultra fine filters. Have any of you felt like it helped your allergies to use ultra fine filters on your S8 or other machine? And if so, where is a place to get what I need cheaply online? I would like to try them, but $45 for 12 (part # 33976) seems a bit steep for little hunks of synthetic whatever!

Got mine here; http://www.montagemed.com/CPAP_products ... 4&vendid=1
You can try 3 for $10.00 or do whit I did and get 50 for $100.00. It is amazing how much more gunk they filter out!

Blame it on New Jersey, blowing their pollen over from across the river. (The chemicals and pollution from over there don't seem to bother me--just the dang trees this time of year.) Some of it probably makes its way here from PA, too, for that matter. We New Yorkers like to blame everyone else for our problems, you know!

Would a Bacteria filter help any? I bought a bunch, just in case, but never have tried them.

Don't know if this vendor carries what you're looking for, but I've gotten some great buys from her on cpapauction.com:

Good luck!

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)
