SleepNet IQ Nasal Mask
SleepNet IQ Nasal Mask
Does anyone have any experience with the SleepNet IQ nasal mask? I am not going to be happy until I try every mask available, or go broke trying. Any experiences that you may have with this mask would be very appreciated. I am using a Swift LT with an auto machine right now, the Swift is very comfortable, but my pressure tends to run high, my average is 16.4, but some days I wake up and it is as high as 18.5cm. At those pressures the Swift LT tends to leak when I move around, where at the lower pressures it is fine. I start out at 9cm, my machine is set for a min. of 9 and a max. of 22. At 9 the LT is very good. I have also tried the Respcare Hyrbrid, but found out I do not like my mouth being covered, and I am not having problems with my mouth opening during the night now.I have also tried the Comfort Gel nasal mask, but the support on my forehead is very uncomfortable. I would like to try a nasal mask without the forehead support. But who knows, maybe I will have leak problems at the high pressures no matter what mask I use. Still trying to figure this whole CPAP stuff out, going on 4 weeks now. Thanks for everyones advice and help!

Wow, no one uses this mask? I guess that either does not bode well for this mask or that company needs better salesmen! if anyone has any experience I would like to get your feedback. Thanks!
Re: SleepNet IQ Nasal Mask
My DME talked me into trying it. I called him the next morning and told him it was coming back right away. It was very uncomfortable and leaked no matter what I did. One of my worst nights with CPAP.
Sorry.

Re: SleepNet IQ Nasal Mask
I had this mask for a short time and then passed it on. I couldn't get the thing to fit no matter what I did. It leaked like a sieve. I can't remember now who I sent it to.
Start Date: 8/30/2007 Pressure 9 - 15

Re: SleepNet IQ Nasal Mask
I know this thread is a little old, but has anyone else had experience with the IQ mask since then? I've been looking at the IQ, Phantom, and Mojo, as they seem like they would provide a good seal. But from what I see here, both sleepycarol and catnapper had a terrible time with the IQ. I'd love to hear more stories about any of these three masks before I buy yet another mask that doesn't work for me!
