drooling!!

I have had my cpap for about 5 months now. Sleep is much better!! but now I have an new problem. I wake up in a puddle of drool. My face is sapping wet!! as is my pillow!! this never happened before the cpap. What gives?

What kind of mask do you have? If its nasal, I'd say you're leaking out of your mouth. I'd consider a full face mask or some kind of mouth sealing like tape or dental strips per recommended by others here.

I use a FFM. And I've increased my own saliva production to compensate for they drying out effect of the CPAP. And my mouth is inflated open as well.

Using a moisturizing gel consistently might cut down on your own production of saliva and be less messy.

Oralbalance is such a gel and its available at a few places like CVS.
