Long time user suddenly having dry mouth

I have been using my CPAP for almost two years now and am suddenly having an issue with dry mouth. I wear a Resmed Liberty and have a humidifier. I always used to keep the humidifier on the middle setting, but for the last several weeks have needed to turn it up (without much result)...last night I turned it up all the way and still did not get much relief. Any thoughts?

Three thoughts I had:
1. Can turning the humidfier up actually have the opposite effect?
2. Maybe I need a new air filter? (I will try that tonight)
3. Thinking back, I think this might have begun when we rearranged our bedroom. My CPAP is on a shelf of a bedside table, but it is now in a corner. Could lack of adequate airflow to the machine cause this?

Are you still using the Liberty mask?

I don't think any of the possible reasons that you mentioned would cause a sudden dry mouth.

FF masks are known for cranking your jaw open ... could cause dry mouth.

If you have lost/gained weight, mask may no longer fit properly ... readjust straps and make sure you still are maintaining the seal.

Also check to make sure your oral cushion and/or nasal pillows are correctly inserted into the shell.

Check your LED readout and see what your efficacy data says.
