Short CPAP survey

Post by p191900k » Tue Mar 31, 2009 2:06 pm

I am collecting data for my Masters project in Counseling, I am conducting a short survey on Sleep Apnea and the use of therapy.
The survey is only 8 questions long and does not collect any personal data such as name or address.

Thank You

Welcome. Thanks for posting the link to your survey here.

For the record, the reason I chose "excellent" for internet store and "poor" for local DME is not just because this board is hosted by cpap.com.

cpap.com is my MAIN internet supplier, but I admit to buying from other companies. I've had the BEST service from cpap.com, but still received great service from other internet suppliers.

I've had nothing but poor service from my first brick and mortar DME.

Since then, I've met a brick and mortar DME that tries harder - OptionCare - but they are unable to supply me with the mask I use. So, I buy little things from them (filters, hoses, etc), and send them customers when I can. And continue to do my main business with cpap.com.

Cheers,
Barbara

i found it difficult to answer the question about whether i felt improvement from using the cpap.
unfortunately, it ain't a linear thing. it's actually quite a cumbersome process: with a mixture of back and forth.
perhaps you might modify the format of your question to include more options.

p191900k is okay. He and I have had several conversations. I suggested he post his poll here and also at apneasupport.com to get a wide variety of responses.

i believe to get a diversity of opinion, the poster is surveying the members of this forum, apneasupport.org, sleepguide.com and TAS, then reporting back on his findings.

Yes, he has already reported back the results of this survey at sleepguide and some of the results were QUITE surprising. Which is why I suggested he post here the survey here to see what a larger "audience" would provide similar results.

Thank you, KiraLynx. He'll post the results here after tabulating them I'm sure as that is what he did at sleepguide.
