It's not an auto... but it is a fully data capable straight CPAP. EPR is available on it.

The Resmed S8 Elite w/EPR is one heck of a good device. It is a fully data capable CPAP w/up to 3 cms of expiration pressure relief if needed and wanted. The Resmeds have been a leader in ease of access to and amount of data available via the LCD screen. The S8 Elite was released in 2006 and was just recently replaced w/the release of the S8 Elite II w/EPR in 2008. I would expect some good buys on brand new S8 Elites still on the shelves to make room for the S8 Elite IIs. I was on the S8 Elite for about 17 months before being switched to a bi-level and I was very happy w/it and really kind of hated to part w/it.

Hi There--I have and use the RESMED S8 Elite and I love it. It is a great machine for all the reasons that Slinky so nicely put it. It is very durable too and looks nice even. I have traveled with it and it packs up in it's own padded travel bag that looks like a laptop bag. You cannot not go wrong if you get one of these. I do not use the EPR feature or the ramp--but it is nice to know it is there if I change my mind,
Carrie
