People using an Oximeter

Post by Bret L. » Sun Mar 22, 2009 9:47 pm

Well I got one the other day and have started using it. Gradually getting use to it on my finger. It doesn't hurt, it's just something different.
My SPO2 seems to stay in the 94 to 98 range during sleep and while awake, yes I sometimes where it just for fun. LOL!!
My Pulse goes down at night to a low of 54. Now I'm not athletic and yes I'm overweight but I can't find any info if this is ok or not. It seems low, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

Sounds good!! As long as your O2 levels stay above 90% you should be good to go. Also as long as your puls rate stays above 50 b/min that also is considered normal.

Nope, no asthma. No breathing problems.
