lindas88 (and others),
Sorry to disappoint you all, but I DON'T have any "worst moments" since I've been on CPAP.....just some of the typical stuff that most everyone goes through.....dealing with sleep doctor, dealing with insurance provider, getting used to sleeping with something on my face, having a sinus cold and cough about two weeks into this adventure, mask slipping occasionally, pulling off mask occasionally in the middle of the night for various reasons (cough, nose itch, thinking it's time to get up, etc.), showing "sleep doc" the printouts from the Encore Pro and MyEncore and have him wonder how I can be doing so well on half the pressure he prescribed (he questioned the accuracy of the reports), cancelling a recent appointment with "sleep doc" and told his nurse I couldn't see spending good money to have to give HIM information and be verbally abused and insulted (he's an obnoxious JERK).
See, just the typical stuff starting out on CPAP......
Crisp,
I couldn't make up something to rival your story.
CLAP, CLAP, CLAP! YOU WIN!
A great story for US to read, but I'm sure not a great experience for you.
I'm glad we don't have any cockroaches here in northern Wyoming (that I know of). However, I'm very well aware of what they are.
That being said, I'm going to start checking my hose for other "critters" (like spiders and such). I have an "agreement" with the spiders that live around my place.....you don't bother me (by eating other things) and I won't bother you.
Hope you don't have any more moments WORSE than that one.
Take care all,
