Backpacking unit??
Backpacking unit??
Is there a truly battery op unit that is light enough to be able to go backpacking for a couple of days?? I would like to resume this activity now that I will be feeling better but am discouraged by the need to stay near a power source (car or outlet). Surely there is something that weighs little but is still effective?? thanks.

According to this page https://www.cpap.com/pdf/Everest-II-CPA ... imates.pdf, you'll need quite a low pressure to manage three nights. Two nights seems pretty feasible, at least while the battery is still new.
Re: Backpacking unit??
thanks. I'll check it out.
Re: Backpacking unit??
My favorite thing about CPAP is "suddenly" being interested again in the places and the trails of the life I enjoyed ten years ago....it's strange, but now getting out for a couple good 3-4 day hikes in the Washington and Oregon Cascades is about all I can think about, and my exercise program seems to shifting itself towards hardening the feet and finding ways to work the same mysterious muscles as a loaded REI Great Star...
