Why would we when https://www.cpap.com/ treats us so fair, and price matches too. No need, we know where our bread is buttered. Jim

Website says http://www.cpap-supply.com accepts insurance and Medicare and cpap.com does not.

I saw a reference to it (and link) on an earlier post on this board and took a look at their website, was wondering if anyone has had any experience wiht it. Just wondering.

read the fine lines on those pages - they will bill insurance but you have to front the cost - who knows how long it takes for the insurance to turn the claim down etc. and finally accept it but in the mean time you bought the machine
CPAP-Supply.com will apply for insurance reimbursement for you. However, we will need to authorize and debit payment from your credit card until we are reimbursed by the insurance company, at which point we will issue a refund to your credit card for the reimbursement amount.

they have a statement where they will not bill Medicare one place and will file Medicare another ------- I don't think they know what they are doing but then Medicare has new regulations in place

from site FAQ
Do you bill Medicare
No.
Back to Insurance.
if you are using Medicare, they have to bill what Medicare allows using a Medicare contract (which will be more than what the machine will cost)

However, call them and ask more but what I see, you pay and then pray to get money back

I normally buy most of my cpap stuff from cpap.com. However when I needed a new heated hose, I noticed that cpapusa.com carries the Aussie hose and I didn't want to go through the hassles of the post office when ordering from Australia (plus the exchange rate).

I wasn't looking for insurance reimbursement on that one.

I wish cpap.com carried them!

I'm sticking with cpap.com. And, I'd suggest not dealing with cpapusa.com, due to my experience with Mark Brinkerhoff there. He contacted me via email May 28, 2008, regarding my RipVW CPAP ChinStrap, said he was interested in adding the product to his inventory to sell on his website, asked me to send samples. Of course, I sent them. He didn't respond. So, I sent a followup inquiry, still no response (though I did receive and still have the email return receipts, so I know he got my emails). So, it seems that he just wanted these items for free for personal use. Amazing!

Thanks for the info, RipVW!

I'm always hesitant to purchase on-line from a business with which I don't have much of a "comfort level". Unfortunately I haven't found another good place for the heated hose. Now if we could persuade Johnny Goodman to carry it I'd be delighted
