New Year’s Resolution - Happiness in 2009

Post by sleepydoll » Thu Jan 01, 2009 9:55 am

The arrival of the new year marks a symbolic time for fresh starts. Many of us take it as an opportunity to set goals, contemplate decisions, and renew commitments. It’s special because of the revitalized sense of hope it brings.
Some people believe that if they just had more money, the things that make them unhappy would disappear and their lives would be better. The truth is that your life can be better without more money. It can be better today, but you need to make some decisions and take some actions.
You don’t need anyone to tell you what will make you happy — only you know that truth.
So, persue fun with a vengeance!
It’s OK to pursue fun. It’s what children do.Why do we stop pursing fun as we get older? Fun shouldn’t be squeezed into a few weeks of vacation each year. And it shouldn’t be squeezed into the last chapter of your life when you “get to” retire. Fun deserves to be a part of your life now — in 2009.
You have to make fun a priority in your life or it’ll go missing. Life’s too short to not have it.

So here’s to a fun, happy, and healthy New Year, filled with ...
Sleep, sleep, sleep
Eyes tightly closed,
A little smile on your cheeks,
Feeling the warm sensations
Of the pure and precious sleep,
Sleep! sleep! sleep!
It’s magnificent and nice,
With dreams beyond wonder,
Forgetting insane things of the mixed world outside
Relax and feel the gentle breeze,
Do not worry about tomorrow,
Wake up fresh in the morn with a recuperated mind,
Fresh and blessed with a wonderful sleep,
SLEEP, SLEEP, SLEEP!

Cheers!
Dolores

Your so right, thanks for the reminder of what's "REALLY" important, live life TODAY, with NO regrets tomorrow. Be KIND to everyone, it makes resting at night much easier!
Have blessed New Year everyone!
Life is not about the amount of breaths you take;
It's about the moments that take your breath away.

Hi Dolores

Very nicely put. I for one have finally gained back my energy after using my 'hose'. I'm very grateful that I finally found out what was causing me to be so perpetually tired!
