I myslef have a FF and was still able to have my mouth open in the night. So I went and tried the blue painters tape (for delicate surfaces) in 2" width and that was the end of the open mouth problems. The only thing that I have done different was I use the 1" width instead of the 2" and form an "X" across my mouth with two pieces of tape and I find that it holds much better that the one single piece (especially when the humidifier is on).

Thanks Echo! It was a perfect storm - busy as heck as work, Blue Screen of Death, and then a cold that went down into my lungs. I've got most of my computer back at work - though not my cpaptalk connection yet - it's slowing down at work, and the BF has given me gracious leave to spend one weekend alone and not talking, in the hopes that my voice will return. I'm either the poster child for dysphonia or the sexiest GF ever. Your choice. Either way, doc wrote me a two page note to work telling them I needed to be home not talking. So far, BF is the only one paying any attention to Doctor's Orders.

I'm fine otherwise. The Prednisone is knocking out the lung stuff and I've been sleeping okay all along.
