MM/BB took jnk/Jeff's post completely out of context and then made a complete fool of himself.......and THAT was uncalled for.
No, Den, the one I wrote came right after I read your post at about 1:30PM today. You inspired me. I do remember saying that besides the offensive language BB was using, I didn't even appreciate his UserName. I also said that Snoredog reminded me of my late father-in-law, who was grouchy and intimidating, lacked finesse at times, but who always gave me good straight advice and loved me even though I had to "tell him off" more than once. I also repeated as I have many times that I came here frightened, overwhelmed, and certain my dear husband would leave me too soon. You all welcomed me with your kindness, wisdom and utmost patience and are still with me today every step of the way. I am so grateful. I don't want newbies to be scared off by this thread, they will find a home here and a way to cope and learn as I am doing. Maybe they'll let this one stay on.
Dori,
What you can do is to click on your user name on one of your posts and then go to the right-hand side of the page that comes up and select "Search user's posts". Then, just go back through your posts as they're listed. It'll list the newest first.
If it's not in there, it could be that it got deleted or that it didn't actually get posted (unless you actually viewed/reviewed the post after you made it).

Just FYI, at the top of this page beside "User Control Panel" is also "View Your Posts" which gets you there as well.

Hey Dori,
As Den says, check them out.
What I have noticed recently (Duh!!! ) is that sometimes when I've typed in a reply on a post and hit the submit button that if someone has posted while you are typing, the system will tell you, put up the new post and give you the opportunity to edit your post and submit.....if you just go away and don't notice that happening your post will disappear.....
cheers

it happened on this reply -- someone mentioned the User Control Panel while I was doing this reply.......

OK, I found it on top, Users Posts, never noticed, checked them, it's not there. I may have clicked on something I shouldn't have and deleted it by accident or someone was posting at the same time I was. Oh, well, it's the little things in life that can be annoying! I'll take them anytime.

Lemme see ... I think I've got $.02 in here somewhere. Yup ...
On the great CPAPTalk forum structuring debate of November 2008, I'd just like to say that I'm a n00b and I love the design and ATTITUDE of this place. It's perfect. Informative, but not condescending. I would just encourage other new folks to learn how to perform a keyword search. That's almost always a way, way, WAY faster method of finding information you are looking for than scouring through some subject-based hierarchy that never adequately organizes the information within. The thread titles, let alone the forum sub-titles, could not possibly track the diversity of discussion that goes on within each thread. Keyword search, people. It's why Google is taking over the world. You may as well get comfortable with it now.

Right.
Remember when old lincoln wanted a gizmo to stop the water a couple of day ago? Put those word in search and see what happens.
And if you vaguely remember old somebody wanted a something gizmo, go to advanced search,
put ol* in author and gizmo in the text, and see what happens.
The search is very good now.
