Moderators need some sections
Re: Moderators need some sections
You know Music Man. You have turned into what you hate. As a moderator on a board that does have posting guidelines, the ones screaming for moderation are the ones who usually get banned.
Be careful what you wish for.
I would like to see forums, but the PTB (powers that be) don't want it, so that's it.
I would have banned you after I matched your IPs to your new alias. Snoredogg flamed you, we get it. Stop crying.

Madness take its toll, please have exact change.

Shut the hell up you little whining sissies. Go get a job, or talk to someone who cares about your little sissy temper tantrums.

You are truly delusional. You are the one who had the temper tantrum.

Yes, Jules is a troll. A common forum troll.
Re: Moderators need some sections
My observation in online forums is those who specifically name trolls like you named me above are actually trolls themselves. You have confirmed my observations.BallBuster wrote:Yes, Jules is a troll. A common forum troll.
Nice try but ........... doesn't phase me in the least.
Re: Moderators need some sections
Agreed, Jules. My experience is that trolls eventually quiet down and go away, particularly if other members avoid responding to its posts. So I propose that we start ignoring anything from these two user names and any others that crop up in the interim. In my ed psych classes, this was called extiguishing unwanted behavior....jules wrote:My observation in online forums is those who specifically name trolls like you named me above are actually trolls themselves. Re: Moderators need some sections
Here I am doing the prep for a colonoscopy tomorrow noon. Seems appropriate finding this post at this time.
Have fun y'all. I ain't.

Back with a clean bill of health, after having a pre-cancerous polyp removed 8 years ago.
By the time you are sixty, I figure you have used the pot maybe 21,000 times, so using it 12 times in one day is not such a big deal.
Eating a meal on Saturday night and fasting until Monday at 2:00 p.m. is a big deal for me!!
The closest restaurant to the surgery center was a pleasant Thai restaurant. I had a good soup and a great yellow curry!
That was at 2:00 p.m. At 4:00 p.m. I am planning to eat two fried eggs, some strawberry jam, OJ and some Kellog's Bran Buds and whole milk.
At 9:00 p.m. I will have a bowl of oatmeal in whole milk with walnuts and raspberries.
Somewhere in there I will scarf down a good Jazz Jr. apple. Yum.

Re: Moderators need some sections
Just ignore the problem and it will hopefully go away. That usually works, right? Not!

They doubtlessly deleted a batch yesterday - the don't keep a 24 hour watch, but yes, they do moderate when things become excessive.LSAT wrote:Someone deleting the ballbuster posts? administrators? I get confused trying to follow...

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

I feel for you rooster... I have had many surgeries and stuff and I think the colonoscopy prep was worse except for maybe the colonoscopy itself...rooster wrote:Here I am doing the prep for a colonoscopy tomorrow noon. Seems appropriate finding this post at this time.

Zoot -- you're absolutely correct -- that's what's going to have to happen, and undoubtedly eventually will as I'm sure the admin's will tire of it as well.
Since my "rest my case" post I've chosen to ignore.....I've typed in some choice comments, but snoredog actually took care of that -- and lowering ourselves to that level is hardly productive. I just post as if he's not there and if he is, and poisons the thread with the snide ignorance, I PM the others to explain what's going on....I also note that I'm not the only one using this tact....
Yes there are deletions going on, but the server logs will hold them and I'm sure the admins are reviewing -- but it's one of the prices we pay for having a truly open forum -- we have to occasionally put up with this kind of psychobabble......
Oh well....
cheers

Wars arise from a failure to understand one another's humanness. Instead of summit meetings, why not have families meet for a picnic and get to know each other while the children play together?

That's not your colon, that's your tonsils. I can even see them down there.
Make sure your doctor gets the right hole.
