101 daytime uses for your CPAP machine!
101 daytime uses for your CPAP machine!
All,
In another thread someone referred to their machine as a "glorified leaf blower". Okay, I've been thinking about this. If we sleep eight hours per day there are 16 hours per day of utility we're not getting from our investments. That's 2/3! You see, now that I'm sleeping like a baby I have all this mental clarity to expend on these important issues.
- Could I really use my CPAP machine as a leaf blower?
- To what pressure would I have to set it for this application?
- Maybe I could make money by selling a leaf blower adapter?
- Is there a market for a heated, humidified leaf blower?
- What about a combination leaf blower/tire pump/hair dryer/convection oven/golf ball warmer/CPAP machine?
- Sorry for the stupid thread but I feel fantastic this morning and I think we need a little more humor here.
- How about a pump for a fish tank?
- An air supply pump for a deep-sea diver?
- A cooling fan for hot summer days?
- An air compressor for airbrush painting or pneumatic power tools?
Can you think of any more?
Have a great day!!!
Chuck

I have had success using my Remstar Auto as a leaf blower, but only with my Bonsai trees.

I hate you. And everyone else that is feeling good this morning.CharlesJ wrote: - Sorry for the stupid thread but I feel fantastic this morning and I think we need a little more humor here.
Not only did I have numerous arousals last night but for two days in a row I've got up 2 hours earlier than normal. My sleep isn't just poor quality, it is short!
The only bright note is my machine arrives today and maybe, just maybe, I'll soon join the ranks of those I hate; those bright-eyed, rested, energized morning people.
(Just kidding about hating you or anyone else. Too tired to feel that much emotion.)

Works great for inflating airbeds & inflatable river kayaks. Really.

Oh Bill....I hate to see you not feeling well. You seem to be a really laid back kind of guy that doesn't let the world get you down. Oh well, I guess you're human after all.I hate you. And everyone else that is feeling good this morning.

Amy, I really appreciate that. There have been days recently that the only thing that gets me through them is the hope that people like you on this forum give me. (Sorry, atrocious grammar, but I'm in a fog today.)yawn wrote:Oh Bill....I hate to see you not feeling well. You seem to be a really laid back kind of guy that doesn't let the world get you down. The package being delivered this afternoon (UPS reports the truck is out on delivery) contains both a Swift and a ComfortSelect which is the mask I used during my titration. It seemed to work real well for me that night and is inexpensive. But I'm going to try the Swift for the first few days and persist with the equipment even until I get used to it.I am so happy to hear that you're getting your machine...do you have a mask picked out??? Yep, I'm at the office. I'm privileged to have an office with a door I can close, not just a cube like most, so maybe I'll take your suggestion and nap for a bit.Maybe you could take a little nap today...are you at work??
Hang in there! Amy
Thanks for the words of encouragement. They are appreciated.
