I will always regret having posed for that picture back in my bearded days. How it got to the internet, or why anyone would try to say it is someone else, I'll never know.

It has obviously been airbrushed, since all my tattoos are gone.

So I vote for removal too.

I think the picture should remain with the name of the poster so that first post on this thread identifying the OP in the thread needs to remain.

So now you're Blowfish, eh Mike?

I find it particularly amusing how in your other post (the aforementioned deleted "political" one) you asked me if I would "tell that to his face"?

How about you?

Aromatherapy may help CPAP compliance. Lavender, Mandarin, Chamomile, and Sweet Marjoram aid in relaxation and sleep. Nature's Gift has these and a blend of all four called SleepEase.

jnk...is that really you?? I'd like to know what diet you used so I could look that svelte.
When I woke up this morning my girlfriend asked me, 'Did you sleep good?' I said 'No, I made a few mistakes.'

Back then it was a purely liquid diet. Lifting weights 12 oz at a time. That's why I couldn't afford clothes.

...Or just push themselves away from the keyboard as suggested earlier to enjoy the simpler things in life:

Mike--get a bike, exactly as Carbonman suggests, learn how to relax, take in nature, and get some exercise at the same time!

So what's with the change from mth712 to blowfish? We shall always think of you as Mike from down yonder in Missouri with the funny pictures:

Folks, I am truly disgusted by this thread and the reactions to the picture. I posted that picture on another forum a few years ago as a bit of humor toward one particular person. We were flirting back and forth and Itried to tell her I was overweight but she wouldn't believe me. So, I posted a picture of myself for her and everyone else to see. That forum was just a few regulars and not read by a whole lot of people, so I thought it would be a big "hoot". The girl I was flirting with actually accepted me for who I was and we've been married for 2 years now. I've since shaved the beard at her request.

I would hope that you people, having sleep apnea as well, would understand the weight struggle I've been through and wouldn't be so quick to both make fun of and completely berate that picture of me. I realize that you guys didn't pick that picture knowing it was me or the story behind it, since I used a different username back then, but the fact that anyone would use that picture, which was posted and meant to be semi-private to use for your own enjoyment just disgusts me.

Nope, that story is 100% true and I'm deeply hurt by all of you.

That sure reminds me of the time I publicly posted a picture of myself dressed like a pirate. Man, I sure haven't manged to live that picture down to this day:

So let's make sure we understand. Some bright and outspoken guy called ractar28 makes a not-so-bright assumption that he can post an absurd self-portrait in very poor taste on the PUBLIC Internet:
but the fact that anyone would use that picture, which was posted and meant to be semi-private
The truth is the utter foolishness of that assumption just doesn't fit the level of savvy you display here ractar28. However, the notion that anybody would publicly submit that self-portrait in such poor taste and then brashly scold the public for the inevitable comments that ensue---instead of simply staying anonymous---does seem to fit.

I could care less if that's you or not. If you have a genuine problem with that picture circulating and all the inevitable comments that go with it, then I suggest you take your beef to the site that hosts that self-portrait in poor taste:

Good luck living that one down with people like Blowfish Mike hanging around the Internet

See, that's what REALLY grates on my nerves -- I posted that pic on hotfatties.com and some idiot submitted it to stupid-pictures.com and honestly, can you call it a stupid picture? It was taken with pride. I did have to clean up after the cameraguy though.. he spewed a few times when I stood up to shake his hand.
