Masques de fantasie

Hopefully this will make you smile....

I won an auction or two for some FFM I wanted to try for those nights when a cold is ruling your life. I asked the great guy I won them from to send them to my sister in the US (I'm in Canada) because I was going to be there and could pick them up. He misunderstood and mailed them off to me up here. So I'm t hinking to myself, " Oh well, it'll take forever, they'll open and inspect them at customs, charge me for the inspection, blah, blah, blah...just wonderful."

To my surprise, they came relatively quickly and with no additional charges except for taxes. I was puzzled and checked the box rather carefully. The original slip for the guy I bought them from clearly said CPAP masks. But ...they must have crossed through Quebec customs and CPAP masks had been translated to "masques de fantasie" (and yeah I know that is not even spelled correctly in french) and they never opened the box so no inspection fee. I think they through they were Halloween masks since they came just before Halloween.

So I have two nice new FF masques de fantasie to try out.

Sometimes the world is just so very interesting.
