Ask them to put it in the US mail, if they can. Who knows if they have internet access.

my guess:

They are not wanting you to have it, I bet they send it to your doctor. The dumber they
can keep you about your sleep disorder and progress the longer they can keep their
thumb down on you to insure their cash-cow continues.

You would be surprised at how many patients fall into that trap especially the elderly,
it is why most people here spent the money and purchased the software and card reader
to print their own.

When you have your own reports and go see your doctor only to hear him say you are
doing excellent with that AHI=17, keep up the good work
someday science will catch up to what I'm saying...

You would be lucky to find a DME that could download your card, and see the full details. Mine, Lincare, couldn't download mine, in 4 weeks I could. You would also be lucky, if the loaner APAP is set up the best way to find your pressure needs. A lot of DMEs think 4 cm to 20 cm is the best way to set them up, when it really is the best way, to show treatment failure. It's hard to find anyone, that know his job and cares about doing it, nowdays, it's get the money and run. Jim

"PDFCreator is an open source application that can create PDF's from just about any program that prints using windows printers. "

1. Go to the following link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
2. Download the PDFCreator program
3. Install the program
4. The program will add a printer called "PDFCreator" to your printer list
5. Run Encore Pro.
6. When you have the data on the screen, click on "File"
7. Select "Print" from the file menu
8. Select the PDFCreator printer
9. Print. You will have *.pdf file created.
10. Email the relevant pdf.

I use the program and it works fine.

Once you have the file in pdf you can use googlepages to publish it. When using googlepages you can use a site name you choose - it does not have to be in any way related to your gmail address.
Good luck!
O.

The problem is his DME can't get it to him, I guess they don't know how to move files or run a printer. But they can make really good French Fries. Jim

This is a completely different question. It depends on which software they have?

But .pdf is probably the easiest to work with. If they can't handle any of the above options, Bring a usb thumbdrive in to see if they can put a copy on there for you.

It sounds to me like they are playing dumb so they do NOT have to give you an electronic copy.

You haven't said why they can't just print you a copy?

You may be more successful if you compromise with them.

Instruct them to:

1) In Encoreviewer or Encore Pro, select the print option.
2) In the print options window, select print to PDF. (If they don't have a PDF option, they can download CutePDFWriter free).
3) Select a location on their computer to store your PDF file.
4) Open their email program, maybe Outlook.
5) Attach your PDF file from the location they stored it.
6) Add your email address and select send.

Otherwise, go by and pick up a copy. I believe they are required to provide it to you by Federal Law.
