in need of a prayer

Post by yorkiemum01 » Sat Oct 18, 2008 7:19 pm

Hi Gang,
Looking to my friends on this forum for a prayer for my parents today, as I've
really relied on you all throughout this year, and one can never have enough prayers.
Rolled up on an accident scene today at 10am (with my teenage son with me),to
discover my parents were involved in a T-bone wreck at speeds of 45-50 mph. Although the other cars' driver airbag deployed, my mother was trapped behind the steering wheel unconscious, with my
father pinned by the dash, but he was trying to pull her out of the vehicle, as her
side took the blow of the inpact. Both cars are a total loss.
Thankful to report the other driver and my father were discharged from the hospital
with a good deal of bruising (esp from seat belts) but even the officer on the scene mentioned
without those seat belts they would've been ejected from the vehicles...so please buckle up folks.
Mom on the other hand, is rather battered and beaten, but thus far the test results are negative
for internal injuries or broken bones, only by the grace of God.
They live with my son and I and we'll see them through this rough patch of road, but I wanted
to ask those here to keep them in your prayers. Thank you all...and God bless.

I'll pray for all of you. It's amazing that your mother wasn't injured even worse. Thank you for letting us know. It's an honor to share in the pain of others!

Your family will be in my prayers this evening. Your days ahead as a family may be rough but there is help.

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. Matt. 19:26

Blessings
