Humidifier condensation
Humidifier condensation collects in my nasal pillows, and when turning onto my back while sleeping. the condensation leaks into my nose and throat awakening me. How can I eliminate the condensation?
Re: Humidifier condensation
Do a search on "rainout" as there are a bunch of ways to correct this.
Re: Humidifier condensation
The are many ways to help reduce rainout. Some times just changing a mask and leaving the other settings alone will cause rainout. So without knowing which mask you are using, it becomes just another guessing game.kid_shaleen wrote: How can I eliminate the condensation?
You can start by putting your HH on the floor, and increasing the room temp. Turn down the HH setting and increase it each nite until you get rainout again. Keep in mind this setting can (will) change with the weather.

Re: Humidifier condensation
I use an Aura Headrest with nasal pillows
Re: Humidifier condensation
The Headrest is an outstanding interface (mask) but very prone to rainout. Increasing room temp while reducing the HH settings are the quickest and easiest ways, tho there are others. Search this forum for more ideas.
Re: Humidifier condensation
Or get a heated hose, if you or your partner like sleeping in a cool/cold room at night
Re: Humidifier condensation
A heated hose will not help when the condensation occurs right in the Headrest mask.
