Cpaptalk # of posters

Post by dsm » Thu Sep 04, 2008 9:31 pm

Just noticed in the stats of members that it shows 32,547 as the number of people belonging to cpaptalk. I don't know if that is signed up members or includes unique guests but it is one hell of a numver.

So my congratulations to CpapTalk for such an incredible turnover of people.

I'm sure a good half of that number no longer post or visit here very often if at all becaused they attained success w/their xPAP therapy and are sleeping well and restfully. They probably now have so much energy they are too busy getting on w/their life and/or making up for the time lost when they were so "foggy" and unhealthy life was a blurr due to untreated OSA.

This is the best place for information. I mentioned this site to my dme and they are now referring their patients here to get additional info.

I feel the same way, and I can personally attest to that. I learned HERE what I should have learned at APRIA!. I learned how to work my machine, how to find the data for one night, and other valuable information. I want to personally thank all those whose posts have helped me so much. I wish I could do so in person. (We could all meet at some lodge somewhere in mid-America, have dinner, wear our username tags only, dance to music, sleep (with our machines, of course), have breakfast the next morning, then go home - what fun that would be!)
Also, my AHI last night was 3.5 - the lowest its ever been.
cheers,
Jay

Yes! Congrats to the cpaptalk venue and each of the incredible members."

Further, though compliant for a couple of years now, I'll always peruse the forum topics at least weekly, though I prefer to check in nightly.

The terrific people here are so creative, knowledgeable, giving, and truly nice. It actually feels like "home" each time I sign in to see what is being shared by whom and what new can be learned, and occasionally to post a little something.

Plus the sleep apnea-cpap industry is evolving so rapidly, as is the related medical knowledge - this is a terrific home base to get "breaking-news" and great jumping off point.

So, thanks everyone, again, for the help you continually provide me (and everyone who comes here) over the years.

Patty
